Hello,

I can't begin to count how many times we meet with potential clients and hear horror stories about "other" dj's.  It really bothers me anytime that I hear one of these stories, because all they do is make it hard for the rest of us to do our job, and they lower the value of the service we provide.  They place us at a disadvantage, and the customer is a bit nervous, for a good reason.  If I was going to spend significant money on something that will "make or break" my celebration, I want to be sure that I am making a great choice.

Below are some of the things that we have heard from some of our customers.  Let me warn you, they are disturbing.  What I can assure you is that these are examples of how we DO NOT OPERATE our business.

  • "We met with this DJ Company at the Bridal Show and we really liked him.  We decided to book him, but we are trying to confirm that our date is available and get a contract before we pay the deposit.  We have tried calling and emailing him, and he never returns our calls.  The last message we left told him we are going with someone else.  He called us back, insisting that we have a "verbal contract" and that we need to pay our deposit before he can confirm the date.  We definitely don't want to do business with him."
  • "We booked our DJ for our wedding a year ago, but we never heard anything from him until the week before.  The reception went okay, but he didn't have half of the songs that we requested. He couldn't even find the email that we sent him, or the paperwork that we filled out a year ago when we booked him.  At least he had a pen and paper to write down our names for the grand entrance....."
  • "When we arrived at our reception, we found that the DJ had setup his "stuff" right next to the cake table, and had moved some of the tables in order to fit everything in the space.  Plus, in the middle of this mess of wires and gear, he had a huge plastic banner with his company name on it.  He explained that it was closest to the outlets." 
  • "Our DJ spent more time at the bar then he did with his gear.  There were many long pauses between songs while we waited for him to make his way back from the bar."
  • "The system that our DJ used looked like it had been yanked out his entertainment center 15 minutes before our reception.  It sounded like it too.  We could hardly hear the announcements."
  • "The other DJ we talked to kept trying to sell us their one and only "wedding package" which was way outside of our budget.  They said that they would not do anything less, because you never know who else might want to hire them as a DJ.  They were more concerned with selling themselves then they were with me on my wedding day."
Please don't leave your special day to chance with any of the DJ's described above. I am going to go out on a limb and say that if I was given a choice between one of the DJ's above and no DJ at all, I would save the money and go with no DJ.
  • We only use professional sound equipment from Peavey, Gem Sound, American Audio, Shure, JVC, and JBL. 
  • We have a brilliant light show with many effects such as lasers, moonflowers, derbys, strobes, and gems from such companies as Chauvet, American DJ, Venue and Elation
  • We have many tools in place that help us communicate with you as our customer to help plan the perfect event. Our our online planner and music database allow both you to make your music selections before hand and plan out your event.
  • We have an outstanding music selection covering all decades from 1940 to today.
  • We carry liability insurance from a highly rated insurance company, designed for Disc Jockeys, just in case something happens.
  • We are flexible with our setups, so please look at our photos below to view some of the setups we have done for weddings and other events.   We will never force you to buy anything that you do0 not want or need.
Our Company exists to prove that "Great, Personal, Customer Service" is still alive and well in Central Illinois.
