Music Entertainment. Started in 1989, this family owned and
operated music entertainment company has provided DJ/MC and sound
reinforcement services all over the Midwest. While we
have many happy clients from over the years, we are always
striving to serve them better. Our
focus of our
business has always been to provide outstanding personal service to our
clients, and we feel that we excel in this area. We gladly serve the entire Peoria area as well as the surrounding cities throughout Central Illinois, such as Galesburg, Kewanee, Princeton, Bloomington, Morton, Pekin, Canton, Macomb, Monmouth, and everywhere in between.

Please Note the following policy change:
Effective June 1, 2009.
For events less the 45 days from the contract signing date, full payment will be due within 7 calendar days of the contract signing date.
This is a change from our normal payment policy, and only applies to events less then 45 days from the date of signing.

- Check the Date - Use the availability checker at the top of the page, to see if we are available on the date of your event.
- Fill Out the Information Form - This is important, otherwise we won't know how to get in touch with you.
- Expect a phone call from us - Be sure to fill in your correct phone number so we can call you, or you can call us. If you don't want a phone call - let us know that. We can communicate by email or in person.
- Look at our pricing - Look at the "Fees and Availability" page for our base packages and prices, as well as other information.
- Meet with Us - we will want to at least meet with you once before we book. This way both parties can learn more about each other.
- Sign the contract and pay the deposit - We will not do your event without a signed contract.
- Be ready to have fun!
What you should expect from a professional DJ service: Some of these are paraphrased from several sources about what to ask your DJ.
- You Work with us - We will be the people you work with when planning your event, and we will be the talent that is their to entertain at your event. No bait and switch, no untrained amateurs, and we won't double book. You will be our #1 focus on the day of your event.
- We won't be late - We will show up at least 1 hour before your guests arrive, and we will be setup and ready play music before you need us too.
- We will dress appropriately - From casual, to formal, to a black tie event, we will dress appropriately. We may wear "work" clothes for unloading and setting up, but we will change into professional attire for your actual event. No blue jeans or t-shirts.
- Signed Contract - Before we agree to do any event, we will have a signed contract with all the necessary details in it.
- Proof of Insurance - We carry liability insurance on our equipment and business to protect you as our customer as well as our business. We can provide proof upon request.
- Clean and Appropriate Music - We will only play clean versions of appropriate songs, and we will do our best to honor your requests and "Do Not Play" lists.
- Reliable, Professional Equipment - We only use professional equipment, and we bring backup equipment with us in case of problems.
While we do everything on this list, some dj's choose not to. Feel free to ask any DJ service that you choose if they provide the items on the list above.
While we specialize in smaller events that does not mean that we cut any corners in planning for any performance at your event. We only use professional sound equipment from Peavey, Gem Sound, American Audio, Shure, JVC, and JBL. We have an outstanding music selection covering all decades from 1940 to today. We have a brilliant light show with many effects such as lasers, moonflowers, derbys, strobes, and gems. We are also fully insured with a highly rated insurance company. We have many tools in place that will help us communicate with you as our customer to help plan the perfect event. These are just an example of our commitment to being truly professional in our business and our commitment to you as our client. If you would consider having us as part
of one of your "life events," we would be honored to be your
guest.
We do ask that you don't take any words posted on this or any other web site at
face value. We encourage you to meet with us and any other DJ in person to help with your decision. This is so that you can make an informed
decision about us and we can learn something about you.
