Currently we have a few dates left for 2010 and we are booking for 2011.
As an entertainment company, we are always looking for new ideas that we can offer to our customers, yet still keep within our chosen market of smaller events. We belong to several groups, network with other DJ's, and are always listening for the next big hit song to add to our collection. All of this allows us to provide some of the best service in this area to our clients. But, time and again, we get some of our best ideas from our customers.
So a big Thank You to all of our past clients for allowing us to help you put on outstanding events!
And now, a few updates as we are in the second half of the year.
During the year, we have added some more lighting to our arsenal. This will allow us to mix and match our setup to better fit in with your event. We have recently added some lighting that can be used for accent uplighting, or utilized with the rest of our show to create an exciting atmosphere.
Normally we would do upgrades on our sound equipment, but we added a lot of that last year, so things are in good shape for a while. Instead, we invested that money back into expanding our music library and other equipment. Our goal is to be totally using digital media by the end of 2011, and that will be a lot of work.
Thank you for being patient with us, as we try to give every request
the attention it deserves. If you are wanting to hire us for DJ services for any event less than 5 weeks away, we ask that you call us by telephone to ensure you get a prompt response.
At this point, we will at least email you a response within 24 hours of your request. With that email, we will confirm if we are available for the date, and we will try to setup a time for a phone call or meeting.

We have traveled and performed throughout Central Illinois and Northern IL. Besides Peoria, Bloomington / Normal, we will go to Galesburg, Monmouth, Macomb, Cambridge, Galva, Kewanee, Princeton, Spring Valley, Lasalle, Peru, Streator, Pontiac, Morton, Washington, Metamora, Pekin, Canton, Aledo, Orion, Rock Island, Moline, and everywhere in between.

- Check the Date - to see if we are available on the date of your wedding or other event.
- Fill Out the Information Form - This is important, otherwise we won't know how to get in touch with you.
- Expect us to contact you within 24 hours - At the very least, we will send you an email. Please look for an email from "Major Sounds Music" within one day of your initial contact.
- Look at our Packages page - Look at the "Packages" page for information on our packages are and what is included. This will help you get an idea about what you are looking for. Our prices start at $400 and go up from there. Most wedding receptions we do have an average price of $650 for 5 hours of entertainment.
- Meet with Us - If you would like to book us, we will want to at least have a phone meeting, and send you a contract. Also, it would help us a lot if we could meet in person at least once before your celebration. We may also want to meet and look at the venue (location) where you are having your event.
- Sign the contract and pay the deposit - We will do our best to work with you. Your initial deposit is applied towards the final amount. Please remember that in most cases, the deposit is not refundable.
- Look over our Event Planning Worksheet- We will use this as an outline for your event. Please look at it and fill it out. Contact us with any questions.
