Welcome to Major Sounds Online, the web home for Major Sounds Music Entertainment. Started in 1989, this family owned and operated music entertainment company has provided DJ/MC and sound reinforcement services all over the midwest. The focus of our business has always been to provide outstanding personal service to our clients. Our approach to this may sound familiar to some of you. It is simply this: We treat everyone in the same manner as we want to be treated.

If you would consider having us as part of one of your "life events," we would be honored to be your guest. However, we do not expect you to make a decision based on a few words on a web page. Our policy is that before any decisions are made, we would like to meet in person, so you can make an informed decision about us.

We hope that you take time to look around our web site to see some of what we offer. Below are some statements that we wanted to share about how we serve our customers. Please note that our primary focus is providing music entertainment.

"We are Professionals" - We will dress and act appropriately for your event. We promise not to double book your event date. You are our #1 focus on that date.
"Fun Promise" - We will try our hardest to make sure everyone has a great time. This includes party props and other activities for kids of all ages.
"Music Selection" - Some DJ's say they have a great selection. We guarantee that we have music from every decade from the 1940s to this year. We currently have over 5,000 songs in our collection, and its still growing. When we come to your event, we bring all of our music with us. Who are we to decide beforehand what you're not going to listen to?
"Quality Equipment" - We know it works. We thoroughly test out all of our equipment before an event, AND bring backup equipment with us just in case. This goes for the music too. For now, we play our music from CD. CD's are proven to work, and there is less chance of failure.
"Sound Quality" - Professional quality equipment means good sound quality. What fun is it if you go home with your ears ringing? How enjoyable is it if you can't recognize the song because it's distorting so much? If you're giving a presentation, you want to be heard clearly so everyone can understand you.
"Playing for the Crowd" - We use our years of experience to keep people up and dancing. The only time a dance floor should be empty is when the party is over. We will use your suggestions for an outline of what to play, and we use our discretion to decide what requests to play. The idea is to keep things moving and people up & dancing.
"Clean Versions" - Believe it or not, some people get offended by profanity or explicit songs. Without getting into a debate about whats wrong or right, lets just say that we prefer to play a clean version of the song if one is available. That way, noone is offended, and everyone has fun.
"Customer Service" - This may be last on the list, but its OUR FIRST PRIORITY. We will do everything to make sure that your event goes smoothly and is memorable. This includes a money back guarantee.

If something happens and you need to cancel or reschedule your event, you may cancel and get a full refund up until 1 week before the event. This is written in the contract.

Our bottom line: We want to be your DJ at your next event. We want you to make a good impression to all of your friends, family, and co-workers. We take pride in providing PROFESSIONAL, QUALITY SERVICE.
